US - The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) joined elected officials and community members in Century City for a ceremonial naming and unveiling of its second set of TBMs that will dig twin subway tunnels between Beverly Hills and Century City, on Monday. Subway tunnelling is expected to begin in early 2020.

US – Tutor Perini Corporation announced October 3 its subsidiary, Frontier-Kemper Constructors, has been identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Water and Power as the low bidder for the USD 121M River Supply Conduit Improvement Upper Reach – Unit 7 Project (RSC Unit 7). The project was bid earlier this year, with Frontier-Kemper providing the low bid. The customer subsequently opted to re-bid the project, and Frontier-Kemper was again designated as the low bidder.
