LTA re-awards DTL2 works following insolvency

The Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) has appointed McConnell Dowell South East Asia (SEA) Private Limited and SK E&C (Singapore) to complete construction works for three Downtown Line 2 (DTL2) stations following the insolvency of the earlier contractor Alpine Bau GmbH, which was awarded the contract for design and construction of the stations in September 2009, LTA announced recently.

The TBM, Alice, has berthed at the Ports of Auckland¹s Waitemata terminal on board the BBC Georgia, NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) announced yesterday. The TBM was dismantled for shipping and arrived in 100 separate Œbits¹ including 20 containers of small parts.
