GREAT BRITAIN – The Government has announced that it intends to sell its 40 per cent stake in the cross-Channel train operator Eurostar for GBP 757M (USD 1.14bn). The buyer is Anglo-Canadian consortium Patina Rail LLP, which will be the only private stakeholder, the remainder of the shares being held by French and Belgian national railway companies.
