Breakthroughs achieved in Russian oil pipeline and metro projects

Two TBMs achieved project breakthroughs last month in Russia. The Cat TBMs are for Mostovik's oil project pipeline tunnel in Novorossiysk by the Black Sea, and the second one is a metro tunnel in the Siberian city of Omsk, Caterpillar Tunnelling announced.

Caterpillar has signed an agreement to sell a distribution and support business to Hewitt Equipment Limited in the province of Quebec, Western Labrador and the Maritimes, it was announced last month. The move comes as the Caterpillar continues to shed distribution units from earth moving equipment manufacture Bucyrus that it acquired last year.
