3 May 2011

Tutor Perini announced last month that it had completed the acquisition of a 100 per cent stake in the Anderson Companies, subsidiary of the general contract group Harrell Contracting.

“Anderson has a current backlog of USD 475M,” said Perini. “It had fiscal year 2010 revenues of approximately USD 287M and average annual revenues exceeding USD 400M over the last five years.”

Ronald Tutor, Tutor Perini CEO, said, “The Anderson Companies are an ideal fit for our building business and this addition dramatically strengthens our position in the southeastern United States. They have a proven track record of delivering quality projects for their customers on time and under budget.”

Anderson’s traditional expertise lay in general contracting, design-build, preconstruction and construction management services in southeast USA.

Anderson will continue to be operated by its current senior management team.
