Pipejacking Association updates guidance

27 March 2024

The Pipejacking Association (PJA) has released an update to its document previously entitled ‘Tunnelling & pipejacking guidance for designers’, now ‘Pipejacking design guidance for CDM duty holders’.

PJA chairman Sean Martin, of Murphy, said the original guidance was published several years ago and had been a key source document to the trenchless industry, predominantly in the UK, but also as a reference document around the world.

“The latest version reflects changes in UK regulation and equipment capabilities and supports the association’s dedication to providing best practice guidance for the cost effective and environmentally sensitive installation of underground utility services,” he said.
