PB adds to LA office

Parsons Brinckerhoff has announced two new hires at its Los Angeles office. Dirk Braxton, a lead mechanical engineer, and Douglas Conyers, a senior supervising engineer.

Braxton will be responsible for mechanical designs for the Los Angeles Metro’s Westside Subway Extension project. He has been working with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in New York City for 23 years, most recently serving as a project mechanical engineer within the Capital Program Management department.

Conyers has 25 years of experience in the design of transportation infrastructure and has worked on numerous transit and airport projects throughout Southern California. He will be responsible for design work on a segment of the new Exposition Light Rail project in Los Angeles.
