McMillen Jacobs Associates rebrands

McMillen Jacobs Associates has rebranded as Delve Underground.

The move follows approval by shareholders in November for the company to retain its underground division and separate the water resources division from the parent company.

CEO Dan Adams said that since the merger of Jacobs Associates and McMillen LLC in 2014 the divisions had evolved. The reorganisation would allow each business to have the necessary strategic focus.

Delve Underground president Victor Romero said the company’s mission was “to solve our client’s infrastructure challenges with our collective expertise and legacy of underground excellence”.

“Our new name reflects our company culture of working collaboratively and delving deep to inspire bold and responsive solutions,” he said.

Founded in 1954 as Jacobs Associates, Delve Underground is an employee-owned heavy civil engineering firm serving the water, wastewater, and transportation markets. It has 21 offices and 350 team members and has design, design-build, construction management, and dispute resolution capabilities.

Chief operations officer Gregg Davidson said the rebrand had involved clients and team members.

“Our new brand is modern and creative yet retains the spirit of our underground roots,” he said.
