Lovat heads to Seville

A Lovat TBM has been dispatched to Seville in Spain for the Linea 1 Interurbana subway tunnels.

The 6.05m diameter Series 21300 machine is at Toronto Port, en-route to Seville where it is expected to arrive by mid-September. When it reaches its destination, it will have a 4.6km subterranean journey still ahead of it through soft ground along a route that is entirely below the water table.
