New appointment at Parsons Brinckerhoff
3 July 2012Consulting firm Parsons Brinckerhoff has named Mark Dimmock as the new managing director of the company's Australia-Pacific operations, it was revealed yesterday. Dimmock succeeds Jim Mantle; Dimmock's role takes effect immediately.
In his new role, Dimmock will oversee 2,500 employees working on a range of projects covering transport, water, power, mining, oil and gas, industry and property. Dimmock will be responsible for setting the direction and positioning the business for future growth in the Australia-Pacific region. He will also continue as the company's managing director of global mining.
"Mark brings 22 years' experience to the position and has tremendous depth and breadth of knowledge of our clients, our business and the region," said Guy Templeton, president and chief operating officer of Parsons Brinckerhoff's Australia/Asia-Pacific/Southern Africa operating company.
Earlier this year, Robert Stromsted became the senior vice president at Parsons Brinckerhoff, responsible for strategic planning and business development at the company's New York office.
