The firm that operated the Clem7 tunnel in Brisbane, Australia announced last month that it had gone into receivership.
KordaMentha partners Martin Madden and David Merryweather were appointed as receivers and managers to RiverCity Motorways.
KordaMentha has successfully worked as a receiver for other complex infrastructure projects, including as the Lane Cove Tunnel and the Cross City Tunnel, both in Sydney, Australia.
“We will need to work closely with the management team and the Brisbane City Council to secure a long term sustainable business for what is a valuable asset in Brisbane’s road network,” said Madden. “Operationally, Clem7 is performing well and we do not intend to make any significant changes to operations.”
