Ground treatment meeting

The Young Members Committee of the British Tunnelling Society will be hosting three talks on the subject of ‘Ground treatment for tunnelling applications’ on 5 September.

The scheduled talks are:

• Ground treatment using jet grouting and its application in tunnelling by Basile Leconte of Bachy Soletanche;

• Compensation grouting and monitoring’ by Mike Devriendt of Arup, and;

• Chemical ground treatment by Lawrence Halls of Tam UK.

Speakers will be open to questions, and a subsequent social will have drinks sponsored by TAM UK.
