The company said the contract with the Land Transport Authority is for building 3.2km of the Thomson Line, which includes one station and some 2.93km of tunnel.
Construction is expected to begin in two months’ time, with work to be completed in 66 months.
The overall length of the new subway line, which stretches north to south, is about 30km, with Daewoo E&C charged with building the section that passes through Stevens station.
