Golden Beaver Award for Jacobs Associates boss

Chairman of Jacobs Associates William Edgerton will accept the 2012 Golden Beaver Award for Engineering at a dinner in January. Hosted by the Beavers Heavy Engineering Construction Association, the event will be held at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Edgerton was awarded the American Underground Association’s award: ‘Outstanding Individual Award for the Underground Industry’ in 2002.

A Jacobs Associates spokesman added, “Edgerton has been involved with major tunnel and infrastructure projects throughout the US as well as in Puerto Rico and Hong Kong. His work includes the Brightwater Conveyance System project in Seattle, USA and the Tren Urbano – Rio Piedras Contract project in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

“Edgerton joined Jacobs Associates in 1987 and has served as president since 1999.”
