That’s what the growth of the tunnelling industry currently stands at according to the International Tunnelling Association (ITA), 7% per year which is expected to continue for the near future. Or at least the next five to 10 years.

ITA Working Groups release new guidance

International – Two new documents have been released by ITA Working Groups (WG) this year. ITA WG 6: Maintenance and Repair has released a report on structural fire protection for road tunnels, while ITA WG 17: Long Tunnels at Great Depth has released a report on TBM excavation of long and deep tunnels under difficult rock conditions.
