EPBM tunnelling in Downtown Vienna

The 2.6km long Lot 02/03 section of the Wien River Valley Collecting Sewer (WSKE) has recently been driven under the Wien River using an 8.6m EPBM. The tunnel is situated in the centre of downtown Vienna and passes beneath Line 1 of the metro with just 3m clearance.
