Verloop to lead ITACUS Young Talent Program

23 April 2018

The Netherlands – Rosanne Verloop has been chosen lead the new ITA Committee for Underground Space (ITACUS) Young Talent Program. The announcement is due to be made on 24 April by ITACUS executives Han Admiraal and Antonia Cornaro.

“The ITACUS Young Talent Program aims at recruiting Young ITA Members to prepare them for an active role in ITACUS as activity group member, leader, or steering board member and in creating more awareness of of ITACUS activities,” says Cornaro.

“Petr Salak [of Dr Sauer] was our first from that program and was the first young member liaising with ITACUS. He then became activity group leader for our Think Deep program: YPTDP, and then became steering board member.”

Verloop is currently a student – an ‘aspiring civil engineer’ as she puts it – at the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands.
