Normet upgrades TBM soil conditioners
25 February 2021Equipment, chemical and rock-reinforcement specialist Normet says it has introduced an upgraded range of soil conditioning technologies in a bid to optimise its TBM offering.
The new TamSoil range is claimed to improve previous product performance in further reducing TBM cutterhead torque, minimising cutterhead tool and screw wear, along with improving muck-flow characteristics, all of which are formulated to maximise excavation efficiency.
Normet says its research and development team has enhanced the existing soil conditioning products to create a full portfolio of eco-friendly surfactants and polymers. The announcement follows the launch earlier this year of the company’s new range of tail sealants.
The new soil conditioning product range is reinforced by Normet’s global technical team which is founded upon customer service, problem solving and site support.
