Normet demonstrates underground emulsion charging by battery

Finland – Normet announced in June that it had performed emulsion charging via batteries in an underground environment. The company claims that the demonstration, which was performed with its Charmec MC 605 VE SD charging rig, was a first for Europe. Normet stated that Battery charging is safer and more efficient than using the electricity grid.
