MIMS contract awarded for Sydney Metro Central Station
8 May 2019Australia – GLS Monitoring (the JV between Geomotion Australia and Land Surveys) has been awarded the Monitoring Information Management System (MIMS) contract for the Sydney Metro integration into Central Station.
Maxwell GeoSystems’ MissionOS data management system for the acquisition, monitoring and analysis of geotechnical and other project-related data was chosen for the project. A spokesperson for Maxwell said, “The capability of MissionOS to relate temporary works progress and activity to the instrumentation result and ground model in live 3D is seen as a clear advantage for the project.”
Geomotion Australia and Land Surveys have been awarded the contract by Laing O’Rourke, who are delivering the new Sydney Metro platforms under Central Station.
