Mexico's ICA wins major tunnelling contract

MEXICO - Mexico¹s largest construction company, ICA, has won a MXN 2.566bn (USD 197M) contract to build a tunnel aimed at reducing flood risks in the centre of the country. The Churubusco-Xochiaca tunnel project, which was awarded through public tender, includes the construction of a 13km tunnel that is scheduled to take 29 months.
