Joy acquisition
30 June 2017USA – Komatsu America Corporation has completed its acquisition of Joy Global a mining machinery company. Retaining its headquarters in Wisconsin, Joy Global was renamed Komatsu Mining Corporation and is now operated as a subsidiary of Komatsu. The ribbon cutting was held in May.
“The combination of our Komatsu-brand surface mining equipment with the P&H, Joy and Montabert brands of surface and underground products will allow us to offer a complete range of mining solutions for our customers,” said Tetsuji Ohashi CEO of Komatsu.
