Dix elected as ITA president
9 September 2022Prof Arnold Dix has been elected as new president of the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA-AITES).
The announcement was made on Wednesday at the World Tunnel Congress 2022 in Copenhagen.
Prof Dix, who is based in Australia, is a lawyer and scientist. He was an iTA-AITES vice-president from 2019 until his election as president.
As part of T&T’s experts’ preview of WTC 2022, published in our August issue, Prof Dix outlined his agenda for a highly practical mission to push sustainability in tunnelling.
