Deadline approaches for WTC 2021 abstracts

29 May 2020

Submission of abstracts for WTC 2021 is still open but the deadline of Tuesday June 2 2020 is only days away. ITA-AITES has advised potential authors that abstracts should have a maximum 200 words and relate to the general topics of the conference. Abstracts can only be submitted online.

Both abstracts and papers will be peer reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Once an abstract has been approved, the authors will be requested to prepare their paper and, after final approval, may present it at conference. Formatting instructions for papers will be available when an abstract has been approved. All approved papers will be in the format of an oral presentation. Abstracts, papers and presentations must be in English – the official language of the conference.

The overall theme for WTC 2021 will be ‘Underground Solutions for a World in Change’ and is scheduled to take place in Copenhagen, Denmark on 16-19 May 2021. Further details of conference themes and sub-topics can be found at: https://www.wtc2021.dk/call-for-abstracts

Note: Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s WTC 2020, which was to take place in May, has been postponed to 11-17 September 2020 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
