The arrival of the TBM into the Waterfront Station excavation pit marked the completion of the first of two bored tunnels beneath downtown Vancouver. The project was completed in early-March 2008 when the 6.1m diameter Lovat EPBM broke through ahead of schedule on its second drive.
North Shore Connector
