The Miller Group, the UK construction services, property developer and house building company, has announced its final results for the year to December 31 1999. Highlights include a 59% increase in operating profit before exceptional costs to $35m; a sixth successive year of increased profits; and a strong order book of $372.8m in contracting. The Miller Group includes Miller Civil Engineering, currently constructing the 3.8km long North Downs Tunnel in Kent, UK, and the $83.2m Humbercare tunnelling project in Hull.
