WTC2020 digital congress ready to rock and roll

ITA-AITES, organiser of the annual World Tunnel Congress, is making the final preparations for the WTC2020 event which will be held online from 11-17 September.

The original programme, which was due to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was cancelled due to safety concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.

Olivier Vion, ITA-AITES executive director told Tunnels and Tunnelling International: “As a digital event, WTC2020 will include keynote lectures and technical papers during the scheduled programme. A training session will also take place on Friday 11 September. The full programme is available at www.wtc2020.my.”

Registered delegates to the digital conference will be able to fully participate in the event, with the opportunity to attend a large number of technical presentations that have been carefully selected by the scientific committee of the congress.

The congress programme is designed to offer a full conference experience which allows delegates to watch any session from the comfort of their usual environment, engage with panellists in virtual forums, take a virtual stroll through the exhibition hall to catch up with the latest technological developments, and engage with industry players via chat rooms.
