The Toronto Port Authority (TPA) announced on 4 April three consortia shortlisted to design, build, finance and maintain the proposed Billy Bishop Aiport pedestrian tunnel.
Forum Infrastructure Partners (Forum Equity Partners/PCL/Arup/Trow/Technicore Underground/ZAS Architects), Elite Tunnel Group (Macquarie Capital Group Limited/McNally/Morrison Hershfield/Golder Associated/Scott Associates Architects/State Group) and City Airport Tunnel Partners (Aecon Concessions/Fengate Capital) were among the more than 50 private sector proponents that responded to TPA’s request for qualification.
TPA will issue request for proposals to the three consortia, which will have six months to submit their proposals to the TPA.
