A 6km tollroad in Sydney, Australia, from Sydney Airport to the central business district is set for completion seven months ahead of schedule. The tollroad includes a 1.7km double-decker tunnel and will be used to alleviate traffic congestion during the 2000 Olympics next September. The tunnel, at 24m wide, is said by contractor Leighton Contractors to be the widest in the world.
