BAA Heathrow recently appointed Tony Douglas to head up the Terminal 5 project, which started construction at the beginning of this year.
“The UK has generally had a poor record of developing major infrastructure on time and on budget and I aim to ensure T5 stands out as a success for all concerned,” Douglas said. Douglas, 40, joined BAA in 1998 as a group supply chain director. He became group technical director last year.
