Crossrail awards Victoria Dock portal contract to Vinci

Contract 340 was awarded to Vinci Construction UK. Andy Mitchell, Crossrail programme director said, “Crossrail has awarded the last portal contract. The Royal Oak Portal completed last year.

“Construction of the portals at Pudding Mill Lane and Plumstead are underway. Construction of the North Woolwich portal will begin in May 2012 and Victoria Dock in autumn 2012.”
