One of London’s Crossrail construction sites was ablaze this morning. Two fire engines were in attendance. A site worker told T&T an electrical fire was started when water flooded into one of the site buildings.

The building on the Lindsey Street construction site, part of the development for the new Farringdon Station, was ablaze at 9am this morning. Thick smoke was pouring out of the building until the fire fighters brought the blaze under control about 9.20am.
